Thank you for your interest in getting started with us!  We can’t wait to have you as part of the Nikki's Pet Sitting .com family!

First, please be sure that you are in our serving area. Our main service area is within a 5 mile radius of the Tarpon Springs Aquarium near the Sponge Docks. However, we offer a larger service area for the overnight "24/7 Vacation Booking". This service area ranges from Dunedin, to Tarpon Springs, Holiday, New Port Richey, Trinity, Hudson, Spring Hill and Weeki Wachee, Florida. We provide loving, dependable care. If you are closely bordering these areas, please contact us to determine if we can assist with your pet care needs.

Second, check out the "Book Services" page for pricing and other details. Let us know if you have any questions. If you do not see what you are looking for, please let us know. We understand that peoples’ and pets’ needs vary widely. We would be happy to customize services to suit your needs.

Third, schedule a Meet And Greet by pressing the Schedule a Visit or Book Services button. The Meet And Greet allows you and your pets to get to know the sitter(s). It is a good time to ask questions and offer pet care instructions. If everyone is happy with the meeting, the necessary paperwork and key / entry instructions can occur.

The first time booking, you will be prompted to register on our secure website. Please make sure your email and home address is correct! Pick the available date and time that works best for you. If booking multiple visits, each visit will be moved into a shopping cart for check out and payment. Please do not leave items in the cart for too long. The system may jam if another client books your desired spot before the payment is made. Swift check out is the best policy. Once payment is submitted, your spot will be reserved on the booking calendar and a Booking Confirmation will be sent to your email. If you do not receive a booking confirmation, then the spot has not been reserved OR confirmation was sent to your spam folder. Please check in your spam folder for messages sent from Nikki's Pet Sitting .com and save us to your contacts. This should insure proper communication.

No worries if a mistake was made with the wrong date or time. You should be able to correct it. If not, just reach out and we will make sure everything is in order. 

​

Please touch base with the Sitter 24 hours before your vacation starts to confirm everything is still on track.  

​

All correspondence arrives via email as cell service is not always reliable when Clients are on Cruises or traveling outside the Country. This feature also works like a group chat between the Sitter(s) and individual client when applicable. This is for safety and ease of communication with the Team. This is especially helpful when special instructions or new information arises.  

​

A signed Service Agreement and Meet And Greet is required prior to booking any services. Once you are properly registered, you can quickly and conveniently book services anytime on line 60 days into the future. If you have a special vacation planned further out, please call so the booking calendar can be opened up for you.

 

Once a booking is made, you AND the Pet Sitter will receive a booking confirmation. The Sitters booking calendar will automatically be blocked reserving your spot. 30 minutes prior to your scheduled visit, the Sitter will receive a reminder alert and GPS will guide them to your home. The sitter will also read any special notes that you included at the time of booking.

At the end of each completed service or visit, the Sitter will send pet photos and a report card. If for some reason a report card is not received, the Client should reach out immediately.

Please note that registration does not guarantee availability.  A paid booking is required to secure your visits. Therefore. please plan Meet and Greets in advance of scheduled trips for proper coverage. Booking times may vary slightly based on the course of business through out the day. Most often we will not bother clients with any on the fly needed changes. Clients will just receive the report card and photos as confirmation that the visit was completed. Thus offering peace of mind.

Holiday Policy

Nikki’s Home And Pet Care Services, LLC, tries to be open and available during major Holidays. Please book early to allow Pet Sitter's time to make plans for spending time with their own family and friends. The following Major Holidays will require a 35% up charge for Holiday pay. Client will receive an invoice and payment is due upon receipt. January- New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, February- Valentine’s Day, April-Easter Sunday, May-Cinco de Mayo & Memorial Day, June-Father’s Day, July – 4th Independence Day, September- Labor Day, October- Halloween, November-Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, December Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Cash tips are greatly appreciated any time but not required. Cash tips help maintain reliable Pet Sitter(s) and their availability on the Nikki'sPetSitting.com booking website. Cash tips especially motivate sitters to be available on all Holidays.

​

Our cancellations policy is intended to fairly represent both Clients and Sitters. For single visits, with a 24 hour written cancellation notice, Client can reschedule or be refunded any unused visits thereafter minus 35% rounded down for processing fees. There is no refund for the "24/7 Vacation Booking Deposit" However we are happy to reschedule. Please see full details on the booking description.

 

Please realize that canceled Bookings from Clients causes loss of income for sitters, loss of future bookings due to the booking calendar being blocked plus prevents other Clients from receiving services. Thank you for your consideration. Again, we are happy to move booking dates should your plans change.
